St Johns, Michigan Communication Basics Training

Expanding conservation use often depends on effectively communicating the benefits of conservation practices to farmers and landowners. If you want to improve your communication skills to improve your conservation outreach, this workshop is for you. In this 4-hour training, we will cover fundamentals of science communication, active listening strategies to build trust, strategies for preparing effective communications, and presentation tips. This workshop is especially aimed at those working in agriculture conservation outreach.
